The CGL Catalog blog is a work of fiction inspired by the oddly specific style of those 1960s mail-order catalogues. Nursery First Aid Cabinet

When stubbed toes, skinned knees, and sharp broken toys visit your nursery, you’ll be so happy to have everything you need to patch up your dearest possessions – all inside the Nursery First Aid Cabinet!

The Cabinet is a sturdy, yet lightweight stamped-metal cupboard that can hang on the wall with drywall bolts – or sit on a surface like a dresser or bathroom vanity.  It’s got an embossed “FIRST AID” label and a sleek, cute, lightly vintage-inspired design to complement any powder room or dungeon!

Inside, you’ll find an extensive collection of our topical medicines and oral health formulas – everything you might reach for when baby has the hurty kind of accident instead of the potty kind!

In addition to neatly arranged bottles and tubes of remedies and antiseptics, there’s an easy little tool rack with tweezers, an oral-rectal thermometer, a dosing spoon, a medicine pacifier, and an eight-ounce bottle (with a rapid-flow nipple, too!) that has “Baby Feel Better” lettered up one side.

A bandage box holds gauze, veterinary-style self-stick wrapping bandages, adhesive clear dressings, and fabric sticky bandages (we’ll pick some cute and colorful ones that match your chosen cabinet color).

You’ll also find items to comfort adult babies while you tend to them: a hot/cold eyemask that blocks out the sight of the scary boo-boo, a soft bath-tub book with short rhymes about caregivers making their littles feel better, and a supply of individually wrapped sweets.

Finally, a little pocket shelf on the outside of the cabinet holds an Injury Journal – a small, wide-ruled hardcover notebook in which a caregiver/little pair can log all of little’s cuts and bruises.  Literate babies can note any property damage for themselves and have it signed by caregiver.  Those who are regressed too far to reliably use a pencil or know their letters will find a soothing ritual in filling out the Injury Journal together -- restoring order to their tiny world after a punishment gone wrong or a fall-down oopsie.

Select the scratchproof enamel to finish your Nursery First Aid Cabinet: pink, blue, yellow, lavender, red, or white.  Or select an industrial style made with steel tread plate texture – or a scary medfet version in white and steel adorned with biohazard decals!  Injury Journal cover matches cabinet finish.
